Transfer my subscription to Canon+

Once you sign up for Canon+ with the same email as your old Canon app account, you can now click "Restore Purchases".

If you don't see, "Restore Purchases", you must create an account using the email tied to the old Canon App.

How do I manage my subscription?

If you transferred an existing Apple or Google subscription, then you will continue to manage your subscription via Apple Billing or Google Play.

If you transferred a subscription that you bought on Canon’s website, contact us for help to cancel or make changes.

If you signed up for a new subscription on Canon+, you can manage that subscription on the Canon+ account menu.

Will my in-progress, saved, and downloaded content carry over and sync to Canon+?

We are releasing an update soon to transform the old Canon app to Canon+. When you update, you will gain access to Canon+ on desktop and mobile and transfer your account.

Your in-progress and saved and downloaded content will be lost. So please take notes, screenshots, or recordings of your current progress. Canon+ has a much more robust library of in-progress and saved items.

Downloadable content is in the works.

What will happen to the old Canon App on Apple TV, Roku, Amazon Fire, etc.?

You can continue to stream old Canon app content until November 2022. We are releasing an update soon to transform the old Canon app to Canon+. When you update, you will gain access to Canon+ on desktop and mobile and we will transfer your account to Canon+. The update will transform your mobile app into Canon+ so you can't access the old app on your mobile or tablet devices anymore.

Streaming on tv's and casting is in the works.

I clicked "Restore Purchases" but still can't access content. What do I do?

Cancel your existing subscription and sign up for Canon+.

Annual Subscribers
We don’t recommend cancelling if you have an annual subscription because there’s no guarantee Apple or Google will give you a refund. Restoring purchases is the only way in the app to keep your annual subscription, so contact us to restore your annual access. But first, follow these steps.

1) Launch the Canon app
2) Tap the app settings icon (...),
3) Tap "Activate Subscription".
4) Screenshot the confirmation that you are subscribed.
5) Click the button below to email the screenshot to us.

Monthly Subscribers
Cancel your existing subscription, create a Canon+ account, and start a 30-day free trial.

Follow these instructions to cancel for Androids and these instructions to cancel for Apple devices. Or click here to email [email protected] to cancel subscriptions bought on the website.

Canon+ will replace the existing Canon app.

So we don’t recommend you sign up in the old Canon app. Soon we'll release an update to the old app that turns it into Canon+ and migrates your account.

For now, sign up for a Canon+ account.

Start a 30-day trial with a monthly or annual plan.

Subscription plans will only appear if you've already created an account.

Once you've made an account and verified your email, click below to start a 30-day free trial, subscribe every month, or subscribe every year.

Renew your subscription to Canon+

Once you sign up for Canon+ with the same email as your old Canon app account, you can choose a monthly or annual payment plan. Both plans offer a 30-day free trial to access all of Canon+.

If you have an active subscription, follow the FAQs above for existing subscribers.
