What is Canon+?
Canon+ is a tool for you to use to train and entertain, to educate and enjoy—a one-stop shop for high quality and faithful content.
It is a cancel-proof tool to help you build Kingdom culture in the home, the church, and the public square.
Canon Press’s mission is to be the outfitters of the reformation and to share all of Christ for All of Life for All the World. Canon+ is our next big leap forward toward that goal.
How do I access Canon+?
Click below to visit Canon+ on your desktop, tablet, or phone. We recommend creating an account first to sync and share your progress across devices.
If you are new, current, or past Canon app subscriber, please read the rest of this FAQ first so we can help you transfer your existing accounts to sync streaming progress across devices and transfer your subscription to access all content on Canon+.
What's happening to the old app? Will it update automatically?
In a few weeks, we'll release a change to the old app for phones and tablets. When you open the app, we'll tell you to update your app to Canon+.
Once you update the app, the old app will go away along with content in progress, saved, or downloaded. So be sure to take notes on the above so you can recreate them in Canon+.
Then you'll make a new Canon+ account using your active subscription email; if you didn't create an account, you may use whatever email you like. Finally, click "Restore Purchases" and you're all set.
The old canon app will still be available on AppleTV, Roku, and Amazon Fire until November 2022, until we release Canon+ on those channels sooner.
Will this replace my current subscription to the Canon app?
No, your current subscription is good for both until the Canon App gets updated to Canon+. You'll still need to create a new account on Canon+ and click "Restore Purchases" when you get in. When we launch the native mobile app soon, your old app will update to Canon+ and your payment info will sync up.
Are the Canon App and Canon+ two different services?
No, eventually they will be the same app. Your Canon+ account will sync up on your mobile app when we update it soon, but for now, signing up on Canon+ won't get you into the current mobile app unless you already subscribe to the Canon App. Enjoy on the web browser for now!
We recommend clicking "save to homepage" to access Canon+ from your phone's home screen until the mobile app comes.
Does my current app subscription give me access to Canon+?
Yes. Your current subscription is good for both until the Canon App gets updated to Canon+. You'll still need to create a new account on Canon+ and click "Restore Purchases" when you get in. When we launch the native mobile app soon, your old app will update to Canon+ and your payment info will sync up.If you have any trouble with "Restore Purchases," let us know.
Will I be charged twice if I'm subscribed to Canon+ and the old Canon app?
No. If you've created a Canon+ account and successfully restored purchases, you will not be charged twice.
But if you create a Canon+ account and subscribe and you didn't click restore purchases and you're paying for the old Canon app, you will get two separate charges.
So active subscribers should create a Canon+ account and restore their purchases. If you need further help, see below.
